B. Franklin Kimbell, D.M.D.

Dr. B. Franklin Kimbell has dedicated his career to providing exceptional endodontic care since joining Endodontic Associates PC in 1990. A Mobile, AL native, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spring Hill College in 1984 and continued his education at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) in 1988. He further specialized by completing a Postdoctoral Endodontic Residency in 1990, solidifying his expertise in root canal therapy and dental trauma management.

Professionally, Dr. Kimbell stays connected to advancements in dentistry through memberships in organizations such as the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, and Alabama Dental Association. He also participates in regional groups like the Southern Endodontic Study Group and Birmingham District Dental Society, ensuring his patients benefit from both proven methods and modern innovations.

Outside the office, Dr. Kimbell prioritizes time with his wife, Jan, and their four children — Emily, Bailey, and twins Ben and Mitchell. The family actively participates in All Saints Episcopal Church in Homewood, where they contribute to community initiatives. Balancing his professional dedication with family and faith, Dr. Kimbell remains grounded in the values that have guided his life and work for over three decades.
